DIY Lip Scrub.

By G.K.

Hello lovelies ! Today I'm going to show you how to do your own lip scrub. It might not be the perfect way but that's the recipe I really like to use.
There's many ingredients in your kitchen that you can use to create your own beauty products, you can make your own face mask, body scrub, cleanser etc... without spending too much money. We will start with the DIY Lip Scrub but don't worry we have many more DIY tips to share with you in the future.

For this DIY Lip Scrub you will need:

- Brown Sugar
- Salt
- Olive Oil
- Strawberry Essence (optional)

It's super easy so let's get started !

Step One, Brown Sugar !

Poor one teaspoon of brown sugar into a small recipient. I'm not going to do it in a big quantity, just enough for a few applications. No waste !
This is the main ingredient to exfoliate your lips, it's going to help to remove the dead skin.

Step Two, Salt !
Add 1/4 teaspoon into the brown sugar, it is also going to help to exfoliate your lips and to heal them faster.

Step Three, Olive Oil !
Add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil into the mix. Olive Oil is a good moisturizer, it will leave your lips smooth and soft. (You can apply ONLY Olive Oil on your lips if they are really chapped and leave it overnight)

Step Four, Strawberry Essence :
Add 1/4 teaspoon of strawberry flavouring essence. I chose strawberry essence because I made another Lip Scrub couple weeks ago with Vanilla essence but you can choose any flavour you'd like. It's also optional, I mean you do not need to add any flavour, everyone has their own preference !

Step Five, Mix It Up :
Mix everything together with whatever you want, I had a chopstick next to me so that did the job. Make sure all ingredients are well mixed together.

AND....

You can put your lip scrub into a small container to bring with you or leave next to your sink to scrub morning and night !
I scrub my lips in the morning before applying lipstick on, especially if it's a matte one. I scrub during the day as well and at night before applying a lip balm.

Please share your DIY recipes in the comment section, we would love to read what you guys use at home :)
